As legend has it, Elizabeth Tilley Bradley, who was known for witchcraft, put a hex on the Tilly and Stanley families that every child born would die. Before she died, she vowed to return. Some say they have seen her and her daughter wandering through the tombstones and others say they hear the cries of babies.
